As you get to the kitchen:

12oz Lemon Water
Lemon Juice will help your body’s ph balance to become more alkaline.  This creates a great environment in your gut for good bacteria to be strong and proliferate, and a hostile environment for the viruses and bad bugs.

After you finish your lemon water:

S. bourlardii
This will help calm the hangry bacteria in your gut who are telling your brain you are starving.  If you have hunger pains throughout the day, take another large tablespoon of S. boulardii.

20 minutes later:

8:00 am:

Green Juice
Probably some of the best ingredients you can give your body.  It helps turn on genes that create health and turn off genes that create disease.

10:00 am:

Vegetable Broth
Rich in micronutrients you need to repair your cells.  You can add some MCT oil and Coconut oil here which is a really good idea because the body is looking to breakdown sugar or fat and here you are supplying it with the best possible.  These keeps the ketosis going.

11:00 am:

Smoothie
Rich in good fats and phytonutrients!

1:00 pm:

Salad Bar
Did you know that broccoli has more protein per calorie than beef?  It’s true!  Make your salad as colorful as possible.

3:00 pm:

Snack of nuts and seeds or olive tapenade with celery, etc.

6:00 pm:

Dinner
Make part of your dinner warm so it’s easy to digest.  Include healthy fats.

Tips to remember:

No Eggs this week.  No meat if you can.  No fruit if you can. Keep your protein intake under 1 ounce or 28 grams.  Fifty almonds is about ½ once or 14 grams of good protein.  One gram of broccoli is one gram of protein.  Tablespoon of Hummus is ¼ ounce.  An ideal dinner is vegetable soup/stew with a salad sprinkled with healthy amounts of nuts and seeds, and a full avocado.

Don’t boil your vegetables but steam them.  Boiling removes the phytonutrients and vitamins.  You’ll notice that the GNB recipe for soup does not boil the bulk of the vegetables, but only simmers them.
